This Hungry Hat is inspired by everyone's favorite monster book. Just think how warm and cozy he would keep you while slowly sucking on your brain...

------{ MATERIALS }------
• Sides: White monster fur
• Face: White with ivory, light yellow, tan, and charcoal gray yellow fleece details
• Appendages: White monster fur and tan fleece ears and ginormous charcoal gray horns
• Eyes: Solid black safety eyes
• Lining: A coordinating flannel fabric of my choosing
• Ties: None

The hat you receive will not be the exact one pictured. It’ll be pretty darn close, though! Materials will be the same unless otherwise noted above.

------{ MEASUREMENTS }------
This hat can be made in ANY size. Please see below for “Regular” sizes and what to do if you need a custom size.

• Measuring for proper fit (Please measure! Not all “toddlers” are “toddler” sized):

(measurement #1) Circumference around the widest part of the head;

(measurement #2) Length from the nape of the neck, up over the top of the head and down to the middle of the forehead – wherever you’d like the hat to stop. Basically, the measurement from the monster’s lip to the end of its mohawk.

• This hat is available in approximate sizes as follows (measurement #1 x measurement #2):

- XXS (Baby): 18” x 10” (typically fits children under 1 year old)
- XS (Toddler): 19.5” x 12” (approximately size 2T)
- Small (Kid): 22” x 14” (fits children past about age 2 and many teenagers)
- Medium (Adult): 23.5” x 15” (I’m an average-sized woman - my head is 22.25”x14.5” and this size fits me the best)
- Large (Adult): 25.5” x 17.5” (Fits many adults with larger heads)


• If the size that you need is not listed above, select custom size and let me know your measurements. There will be an additional 10% charge for custom sizes to cover my time in resizing the pattern.
• If you want to request a custom style or color combo, please feel free to send me a custom request ( http://www.etsy.com/conversations/new?with=FairlyEnchanted&subject=Custom+Item+Request ). Many fleece and fur colors are available. Different expressions and eye colors can be used. Velcro or string ties can be also be added to the earflaps to tame skiddish monsters.
• Please be aware that custom orders will take 1-3 weeks to complete.


------{ NOTES }------
Care instructions: Hand wash; air dry. Use a brush to refluff the fur if necessary. Machine washing may destroy the fur texture.
